MY WORLD, MY WORK
After graduating from Sam Houston University with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, I started working at the Light and Salt Association as a project assistant. My job responsibilities include providing assistance to vulnerable and underprivileged community members. After one year of work, I became the project coordinator, which requires communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills, as well as in- depth knowledge and use of any software including Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, After Effects, and any meeting software. I also have the ability to multitask within fast-paced environments. In my spare time, I work as a freelance graphic designer, working with clients to create business cards, logos, and web designs. I'm bilingual (English/ Mandarin), and can communicating in both languages. I am highly interested in working with different people.
Besides my full-time job, I have the opportunity to teach art to both adults and children every Saturday at a community school. This fulfilling opportunity allows me to share my expertise and nurture creativity in individuals of different age groups. I thoroughly enjoy imparting artistic knowledge and witnessing the growth and development of my students' artistic abilities. It is a rewarding experience that complements my passion for art and enhances my teaching skills in a diverse learning environment.
